HaulProof ("the app") is developed by Big Steppers. This policy describes what the app accesses and what happens to that information. The short version: everything stays on your device. We collect nothing.
All photos, videos, and job records are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage and local database. HaulProof has no server, no user accounts, and makes no network requests. We, the developer, never receive, see, or have any way to access your data. The app's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," and that is literally true.
To turn coordinates into a street name, the app uses your device's built-in geocoding service (operated by Apple on iOS under Apple's privacy policy). Only the coordinates of a capture are sent to that OS service, and the resulting street name is stored only on your device. This is an operating-system function; we receive nothing.
Data leaves your device only when you explicitly send it: texting or emailing a job through your own messaging and mail apps, or exporting to your own photo library. Those transfers go to recipients you choose, through apps you control. We are not a party to any of them.
Your data persists until you delete it in the app (jobs, photos, and videos can be deleted individually or in bulk, every deletion is confirmed and permanent) or until you uninstall the app, which removes everything.
No third party receives any data from HaulProof. There are no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind.
HaulProof is a work-documentation tool. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
